About

Seira Yun

Seira Yun is a convener, founder, and investor working at the intersection of technology and human progress. He founded Socious, an impact-focused professional network, and the Impactism movement — the idea that impact, not money, should be the measure of value. He convenes the Tech for Impact Summit and backs deep-tech founders through Socious Capital.

TODO(seira): replace this with the real first-person story — the path from Socious to Impactism to convening and investing, in your own voice.

The intellectual lineage

The thinking has a clear lineage: Bhutan's Gross National Happiness and Amartya Sen's Human Development Index reframed what development is for; PICSY (Ken Suzuki / 鈴木健) is the closest prior art, where purchasing power tracks measured contribution. Impactism's inversion is to treat impact as its own peer-conferred, plural medium — not impact translated back into money.
